Announcing the Los Alamos Makers Creative Workforce Development Program
The Creative Workforce Development Program at Los Alamos Makers is now launching. This hands-on program helps artists, designers, and creative entrepreneurs turn digital ideas into real, physical products—learning practical design-to-fabrication workflows using tools like laser cutters, 3D printers, embroidery, and sublimation equipment. With accessible training, shared resources, and business-ready support, the program creates clear pathways from learning to earning for creatives across Northern New Mexico.
Now Open: Los Alamos Makers Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) Program
Los Alamos Makers is launching a flexible Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) program for scientists, engineers, creative-tech founders, and independent innovators who want space to explore, build, and test ideas — without the constraints of a traditional incubator.
This is a low-friction, high-flexibility residency:
• No equity
• No rigid cohorts
• No startup hype
• Real projects, real tools, real momentum
The EIR program is designed for people who want to experiment, prototype, and move ideas forward at their own pace — especially those navigating early translation, side projects, or pre-company exploration.
