Akkana will not be there, but the show goes on! Here is Akkana's message for this week: " Hi, Raspberry Pi folks: I won't be at the Pi Club meeting tomorrow night -- sorry, I have another commitment I can't get out of. But the show goes on! Prisca will be there to open up, and the space will be open for projects as usual: 6:30-8 at Los Alamos Makers. In addition, there's been some talk about working on Halloween projects. I can think of two fun Pi projects offhand (these also work with an Arduino): - Set up a pumpkin (or something else, like a robot or a teddy bear)   that can sit on your doorstep and flash lights or play a sound effect   like an evil laugh when people walk by; - A light show you can wear on Halloweekend, maybe something you   can control with hand movements or that responds to nearby sounds. Of course, if you have an idea for a different project, that's good too! I'd suggest that people interested in doing projects talk to each other tomorrow night at Pi Club and figure out what you want to do. If you want something ready by Halloween and you need to order parts, you should probably do that soon. Email me if you'd like recommendations on what parts to order for particular projects, and then we could start getting them working next week. "
